1) Introduction and Delivery of Pre Primary Classes. Building a foundation for later learning, Pre Primary classes play a key role in nurturing learning, supporting and preparing children for Primary School.



2) Improving Primary Resources and Facilities.

Working directly with Primary Schools and their committees, we aim to identify and address the areas of greatest needs.

Equipping schools with basic necessities such as; chairs, desks, blackboards, cupboards and books, we aim to partner with schools, and support them to a point of self-sufficiency.

3) Lions eye camps can provide eye care and cataract surgery for a village, for as little as £250, yes £250! Lions Clubs Eye Camp donations support Sight Savers' comprehensive eye services (CES) projects in India, which are coordinated with local partners.

​

4) Water Aid - over one billion people do not have access to safe water, roughly one sixth of the world's population. Water related diseases kill nearly 5000 children every day! Lions Clubs have a partnership with WATER AID and we share their vision of a world where everyone has access to safe water and sanitation. Water Aid provides Water Wells to remote, and often small, villages in Africa and India. Since its formation more than 8 million people have gained access to safe drinking water in Africa and Asia.

Closer to home.

We support local individuals and groups or organisations who have a particular need, like a contribution towards the purchase of a mobility scooter, a walking aid for a severely disabled teenager, local cancer and hospiscare charities, the local community bus, the Budleigh Salterton Christmas street lights and our ever popular Christmas lunch for over a hundred local elderly residents.
